For this reason, we are committed to delivering custom-tailored training programs designed to meet each client's specific needs, goals, and performance requirements.
Through an initial assessment process, we identify existing competencies so training time can be focused where it is most needed. This approach helps eliminate unnecessary repetition of material in which the student is already proficient, allowing for a more efficient and effective learning experience.
For example, in a standard training course, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours may be dedicated to the fundamentals of drawing from a holster. If a student demonstrates prior proficiency in this skill during assessment, that portion of instruction can often be reduced by 50% or more. The time saved is then reallocated to other critical skill areas where additional development is needed.
This customized approach allows participants to maximize the value of their training investment, improve overall skill balance, and receive focused instruction in the areas that will most enhance their performance—without increasing overall training costs.
Grey Wolf Consulting understands that many agency instructors operate under significant constraints, including limited budgets, time restrictions, and operational demands that can make it difficult to consistently update training methodologies and skill sets. To address these challenges, Grey Wolf Consulting offers its Cooperative Training Service (CTS) as part of our custom-tailored training solutions.
Through CTS, experienced Grey Wolf Consulting instructors—who actively maintain and continuously update their skills in accordance with current tactics, techniques, and best practices—work in direct collaboration with agency training personnel. This partnership is designed to enhance existing instructional capabilities while supporting the development and delivery of mission-specific training programs.
Following curriculum development, Grey Wolf Consulting provides direct instructional support during course delivery and associated training evolutions. This collaborative approach ensures consistency, relevance, and operational applicability throughout the training process.
CTS is available in live-fire environments, virtual training formats, or a blended combination of both. Training can be conducted at the agency's designated training facility or at approved Grey Wolf Consulting training locations.
This cooperative model is designed to strengthen internal instructor capability, enhance training effectiveness, and ensure agencies remain current with evolving best practices in the field.
Our Individual Training Session and Consultation (ITSC) service is designed for those who have already completed formal firearms training or are just starting out and are looking to refine existing skills, develop new capabilities, or receive personalized coaching tailored to their specific goals.
