This program is strongly recommended for all students preparing to attend the full Connecticut Blue Card Certification Course, as well as currently certified individuals who are subject to annual re-certification requirements.
Due to recent and significant regulatory changes affecting Armed Security Officers in the State of Connecticut, all state-approved instructors are now required to implement updated training standards. These changes primarily impact the live-fire qualification component of certification and have resulted in a substantially more demanding evaluation process.
As a result, students who are not adequately prepared face a significantly increased risk of failing qualification, which may lead to de-certification and loss of eligibility to work as an armed security officer in the State of Connecticut.
To address these changes, Grey Wolf Consulting, LLC has fully updated its CT Blue Card Preparatory Course to better prepare students for successful completion of the current state-mandated live-fire qualification standards.
This course is designed to improve performance, reinforce fundamentals, and reduce the risk of qualification failure under the revised requirements.
This program utilizes a structured “Saturation Training” methodology. Students will receive high-repetition, performance-focused instruction with continuous correction and real-time coaching throughout the training cycle. This approach is designed to identify and correct deficiencies quickly while reinforcing proper technique under supervised conditions.
Participants are required to bring a minimum of 500 rounds of ammunition for use during this course, in addition to all their standard duty equipment including a minimum of 3 magaziines..
Students must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Late arrivals—defined as any student not present and ready at the exact start time—will not be admitted and will forfeit all tuition. This policy is strictly enforced to ensure training integrity and proper course execution.
